讲座内容:The research unit AMAP (Botany and Computational plant architecture, http://amap.cirad.fr ) is carrying our researches on plant architecture and development since more than twenty years. These researches provide a conceptual framework for the development of functional and/or structural plant growth models that find applications in plant biology, agronomy, forestry and environmental sciences.
 
We will present the main concepts, methods and tools developed by our team, which cover a complete chain of R&D steps from the representation of plant architecture to the simulation of the interactions between plant growth and its environment. We will make the focus on plant biomechanics, explaining the importance of considering these interactions for understanding the ability of plants to acclimate or adapt their growth to mechanical stresses.
 
Thierry Fourcaud博士:
   法国农业发展研究所生物部研究员;
   法国计算植物株型与中法信息、自动化与应用数学联合实验室高级研究员。
   1995年于波尔多第一大学获应用数学博士学位;
   1995-2005年,担任国家科学研究中心森林流变学实验室“树木整体生物力学”研究小组组长;
   2005-2007年,担任中科院自动化研究所中法信息、自动化与应用数学联合实验室高级研究员;
   2007年至今,担任计算植物株型联合实验室“植物株型与发育”研究小组主任。
   Thierry博士已发表学术论文被SCI收录30余篇。先后五次当选为国际会议学术委员会成员,四次被邀请做国际会议大会报告。
