张素菁教授简介

张素菁教授于1977年生于台湾，2008年取得加州大学伯克利分校博士学位，此后分别于麻省理工学院、美国自然历史博物馆和哥伦比亚大学从事博士后研究工作，自2011年1月起在香港大学任教，担任荣誉助理教授。她的主要研究方向是利用高精度测年方法定量研究古气候变迁、古生物演化及灭绝、火山岩浆活动以及大地构造学等。目前，她是美国地球物理协会、美国地质协会及香港地质协会等协会的会员。她已在《Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology》、《Earth and Planetary Science Letters》以及《Western Pacific Earth Sciences》等杂志发表论文多篇。并担任《Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology》及《Physics of the Earth and Planetary Interiors》等杂志的审稿人。
